Machining

Expert Machining Services

At Kohs we have a wide variety of machines for any project. We have five different manual lathes and the largest parts we can do in 30-inch diameter and 16 feet long. We have four different manual mills with the ability to machine circular parts. Kohs also has a Milltronics CNC milling machine that can do parts 24 inches by 16 inches and can hold a tolerance of +/-.003". The CNC mill has through spindle coolant allowing for high speed and high-volume drilling. For reaming or boring the tolerance is +/-.0005". Kohs can machine most types of metal and plastics.

Fabrication

Custom Fabrication Solutions

At Kohs we can bend parts up to 1/2 inch thick with the apron brake and 1/4 inch thick with the press brake (thicker pieces may take longer and cost more.)

We can shear steel pieces up to 1/4 thick, stainless up to 3/16 and as wide as 10 feet

We can roll 10 gauge by 5 feet to a 6-inch diameter circle.

Quality Control

Fast and Accurate Measurments

At Kohs Machine Shop we use a variety of measuring tools and equipment to ensure your parts are accurate to your tolerance. We use calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers, gage pins, gage blocks, and a height gage in-house for fast and accurate parts. Ask about our quality manual when scheduling a production job.
